IPM course can be taken by students
after their 12th class. Currently, IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak are
offering the IPM Course. I suggest all 12th class students prepare for this exam as it gives a good opportunity to study in Prestigious
IIM at a very early stage of life thus giving a good life learning experience.
The benefit of joining the IPM Course is that students get access to great faculty available in the country and also avail great infrastructure at a very early stage of life. IPM students are placed along with the PGP student thus IPM students get access to the same opportunity as it is available for PGP students. In fact the last two years, there is no difference between IPM and PGP. Both the student get the same opportunities. Also, there is no difference in Placement.
IPM entrance exam IPM AT is simple in comparison to CAT. The level of competition is also less in IPM AT Exam.

IIM Indore IPM Last Year 2019 Paper
How to prepare for IIM Indore IPM 2020?
Quantitative Aptitude :
1. The first step is to analyze last year's paper which you can download from the above link. See the type of questions asked in the previous year exam and make a plan to cover all the topics before the exam.
As per my analysis, the questions are from 10-12 NCERT books and very simple in nature. So make sure that you cover each and every topic and do not skip any topic.
2. Selecting good books is extremely important to prepare for any exam. Also, please do not buy many books instead the same book should be revised multiple times.
I have provided links to the NCERT book in the Book section of this article. If you do not have books by any chances then you can buy the book from the link provided.
I have also provided some books which cover the overall syllabus and mock test which you can practice before the exam.
3. I would recommend you practice a lot of mock tests so that you feel comfortable while giving the actual exam.
Mock tests help you to identify the weaker section and also help you with time management in the exam. Through Mock Test, You get well aware of the Weak topic well in advance and you get enough time to practice and improve upon your weak topics.
Similarly, through the mock test, we develop better time management skills to solve problems in exams very quickly.
I recommend you focus more on revision and practicing lots of mock tests.
Verbal:
1. For Verbal Section, Analyse the type of question asked in the previous year paper.
2. Practice questions from the books I have mentioned in the book section. You can practice lot of questions Objective General English Book and improve your Vocabulary from the famous book Word Power made easy.
For the Reading Comprehension question, it is very important to have a good vocabulary for understanding the context of the complete article.
3. Practice as many mock tests as possible.
4. I found most of the verbal section questions in last year's paper related to the usage of words. So, I would recommend you read the editorial section of Indian Express or The Hindu newspaper on a daily basis.
